What is it with me and blankets?

New year, new blanket!

I don't know what it is with me and blankets, but as soon as I finish one, I start another. Having said that, the cat has claimed the handspun one I finished.

Now onto the next one.  This time, crocheted hexagons, in creams, beige and browns.

I am not much of a crocheter though. I can do granny squares though, so I'm trying to extend my skills. I have no idea how to join them though and I don't know whether I'll do a square one or a random edge one.

We'll see!

In other news, the foot is slowly healing. I'm beginning to walk on it now. It's a bit sore. I finally have a physiotherapy appointment next week. I'm a bit nervous though so I don't know where I am on the progress scheme of things, although I suppose I am where I am.
